Respect the heat
Georgia summers are long, hot and humid, and a dark-coated Corso soaks up the sun. Walk early in the morning or after sundown, keep shade and fresh water available, and skip the midday fetch sessions from June through September.
Georgia Cane Corso breeder since 2008
Raised in metro Atlanta, loved all over the state. We've been placing AKC and ICCF registered Cane Corso puppies with Georgia families for more than 15 years.
If you're searching for a Cane Corso breeder in Georgia, you've probably noticed there's no shortage of people with puppies for sale. What's harder to find is someone who's been doing it the right way for a long time, lives where you can meet them, and still picks up the phone after the puppy goes home. That's what we try to be.
Brown's Cane Corso is a small hobby program run by Keith Brown out of Douglasville, about 20 minutes west of downtown Atlanta off I-20. We've been breeding since 2008, and our dogs come from the line of AKC Show Champion Destro Res Landes, a solid black Ukrainian import who remains the cornerstone and foundation of everything we do.
Families come to us from all over the state: intown Atlanta, the Columbus and Fort Benning area, Augusta, Middle Georgia and the coast. Wherever you are, the goal is the same: a confident, healthy, well-built Corso that fits your home.

Raising a Corso in Georgia
A Cane Corso is a big, short-coated working dog. Georgia is a great place to own one, with a few things worth planning for.
Georgia summers are long, hot and humid, and a dark-coated Corso soaks up the sun. Walk early in the morning or after sundown, keep shade and fresh water available, and skip the midday fetch sessions from June through September.
Mild winters mean mosquitoes, fleas and ticks are around most of the year here. Talk to your vet about heartworm and flea and tick prevention year-round, not just in the summer.
A Corso is naturally protective and wary of strangers. Get your pup out to as many new places, people and sounds as possible in the first few months, from a Saturday farmers market to a quiet trail.
Some apartment communities, HOAs and homeowners insurance policies have rules about large guardian breeds. A quick call before your puppy comes home saves a headache later.
How it works
No middlemen and no surprises. Here's how families across Georgia bring home a Brown's Cane Corso.
Litters
Our litters include blues, blacks, formentinos and brindles, all from the line of AKC Show Champion Destro Res Landes through our studs Jack and Zeus. Fully trained pups are sometimes available too.
Availability changes from litter to litter, so the best way to know what's coming up is to call Keith at (678) 558-7769. You can also browse puppies we've produced.

Why families choose us
We're a small hobby breeder, not a puppy broker. Keith has been raising Cane Corsos in metro Atlanta since 2008, and every pup is raised right here in Douglasville.
Our program is built on AKC Show Champion Destro Res Landes, a Ukrainian import and the cornerstone and foundation of our breeding program. His line carries on through our studs Jack, his son, and Zeus, his grandson.
Bringing your puppy home
Most Georgia families make the drive to Douglasville to meet us and pick up their puppy in person. We'd honestly prefer it that way. You get to see where your pup was raised, and we get to send you home with everything you need to know.
Coming from farther out? Shipping is available too. Give Keith a call at (678) 558-7769 and he'll walk you through the options.
